Rose Garden Center

A delightful hidden gem in Marrero! The staff are friendly and helpful. The plants are healthy and the choices are plentiful. The pets including the fish selection are far better than most big box pet stores.

I enjoyed walking around the garden. I wish they’d clean up the spider webs and dust a bit inside. Their plants are top tier. The plants I purchased a few weeks ago are thriving and did not come with any pests despite being kept outside. Their prices are incredibly reasonable except the price for the pothos (those should only be shared by clippings lol). The staff was really nice and helpful. I’m definitely going to return.

This garden center has been in business for 75 years and they definitely know what they’re doing! Not only did they have a wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants, but they also have a huge pet section, including fish, birds, rats, mice, and guinea pigs. I also heard that sometimes they will have kittens and puppies as well. The employees and friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back!

This is easily the best nursery in the Greater New Orleans area. The selection is beautiful, the prices are reasonable, and they have everything you could possibly need—from plants to fish, birds, and chicks. It is a lovely family-owned business on the Westbank Expressway that feels like stepping into a time machine. Everyone should come check this place out.

I’ve been shopping here for years, and it’s always been worth the investment. The selection of plants, tools, and garden supplies is top-notch. Their staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help. Highly recommend for any gardening enthusiast!
